What does God’s word say about self-control?
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
In our everyday lives, having self-control can be one of the hardest things we have to do. If we allow the Holy Spirit to guide our steps and decisions, we will be able to have the self-control that we need in every aspect of our life. When we bear self-control, it helps us to not fall into sin or temptation.
How can we have self-control in our lives when we are going through a hard season?
God’s word says this-
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” – Ephesians 6:11
We can have self-control in the hardest moments of life because we have the authority to put on the whole armor of God. When you find yourself struggling to have self-control, pray that the Lord will guide you in everything that comes your way.
