It may feel like the enemy is attacking you through your battles. It may seem like everything in your life is crumbling and you can’t see a way out. How do we get through the tough battles that we face? PRAY
The prophet Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days on behalf of the people of Jerusalem. God answered Daniel’s prayers because he faithfully served the Lord. Daniel never gave up, instead he persevered through prayer and fasting. Daniel knew that praying was the only thing to do while going through many trials and tests.
"Then he said, 'Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.'" - Daniel 10:12
Prayer helps us and allows us to have an intimate conversation with our Heavenly Father, but it also helps us to surrender everything at His feet.
When we learn to depend on the Lord and surrender our flesh and battles, our prayers to the Lord become full of fire, they become bold, and they become fierce so that we can stand in authority and know that our battles have been won by our loving Father.
In Matthew chapter 7, we read about “Effective Prayer”:
"For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." - Matthew 7:8
We don’t have to be afraid to ask our Father anything because He tells us that we shall “receive.” Your battle may be hard at this very moment, but keep holding on because the Lord will fight every battle for you.
“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” – Exodus 14:14
Praying through your battle does not only grow you in the Lord, but it also helps you to resist the enemy so that you can stand firm against any battle that comes your way.
"Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm." - Ephesians 6:13
Our prayers are a powerful force that defeats the plans of the enemy and the situations that we are facing. We can have confidence in the Lord knowing that He fights our battles for us so that we don’t have to fight them alone. It’s up to us if we are going to pray through our battles or give into the schemes of the enemy. Prayer is a beautiful thing, therefore we should always be grateful that we have the privilege to pray to our loving Father.
- Pray for God’s direction
- Pray for Peace
- Pray for Joy
- Pray to see God’s goodness in everything and even in all the highs and lows

- Prayer breaks generational curses
- Prayer brings a new anointing and a fresh awakening
